EKSPLORASI ETNOMATEMATIKA BUDAYA SEDEKAH RAME MASYARAKAT LUBUKLINGGAU DAN HUBUNGANNYA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA

The Sedekah Rame culture is a traditional tradition of the Lubuklinggau community that is still practiced today, particularly by the people of Batu Urip Hamlet, Batu Urip Village, North Lubuklinggau II District. This tradition is carried out as an expression of gratitude for the harvest, a request for safety, and an effort to maintain harmony in community life. Philosophically, Sedekah Rame reflects the community's outlook on life, emphasizing a balanced relationship between humans and God, fellow humans, and nature. The values of togetherness, mutual cooperation, justice, and order are reflected in the use of traditional artifacts and the orderly organization of activities. This study aims to explore the concept of ethnomathematics in the Sedekah Rame culture and describe its application in junior high school mathematics learning. The study used a qualitative ethnographic approach and was conducted in Batu Urip Village, Lubuklinggau City. The research subjects included traditional leaders, Sedekah Rame cultural practitioners, and ninth-grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau City. Data were collected through interviews and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The research results show that the Sedekah Rame culture incorporates mathematical concepts such as geometry, numbers and division, measurement, and patterns and regularity. The learning process is implemented through student worksheets (LKPD) and focuses on describing the learning process without measuring student learning outcomes.
