PENGEMBANGAN LKPD DIGITAL BERBANTUAN GEOGEBRA MATERI PERSAMAAN LINEAR SATU VARIABEL KONTEKS BAHAYA MEROKOK UNTUK MENDUKUNG KEMAMPUAN COMPUTATIONAL THINKING SISWA SMP
The limited integration of technology in mathematics learning, particularly interactive simulations that can transform abstract processes into more concrete representations, often causes students to experience difficulties in understanding dynamic relationships between variables. This study aimed to describe the characteristics, determine the validity and practicality, and analyze the potential effects of a GeoGebra-assisted digital student worksheet (LKPD) on the topic of Linear Equations in One Variable within the context of smoking hazards to support junior high school students’ computational thinking (CT) skills. This research employed a design research methodology using the development studies model proposed by Bakker and Plomp, which consists of three phases: preliminary research, development or prototyping, and assessment. The study was conducted with seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 32 Palembang during the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year using purposive sampling. The research instruments included validation sheets, practicality questionnaires, computational thinking tests, and interviews. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including the Shapiro–Wilk normality test and the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test, with the assistance of IBM SPSS 26. The results indicated that the developed digital LKPD possesses didactic, constructional, and technical characteristics that support CT stages through the use of GeoGebra as a visual and exploratory tool. The LKPD was categorized as very valid (87.25%) and very practical (86.25%). The Wilcoxon test revealed a significant difference in students’ CT skills before and after the implementation of the digital LKPD (Asymp. Sig. = 0.000 < 0.05), indicating that the GeoGebra-assisted digital LKPD has a positive potential effect on supporting students’ computational thinking skills.
