This study aims to analyze the characteristics of farmer group members in Tanjung Baru Village, measure their perceptions of the usefulness and ease of use of chili post-harvest technology, and examine the relationship between these characteristics and their perceptions. The research was conducted through a survey involving 27 members who participated post-harvest technology training, using a 3-point Likert questionnaire and interviews, followed by descriptive analysis and Spearman’s Rank correlation test. The results show that the members are predominantly of productive age, have basic to intermediate education levels, possess varied technological experience, and generally fall into the low-income category. Their perception of the post-harvest technology is categorized as high, reflecting positive assessments of the machine’s ability to reduce post-harvest losses, extend shelf life, and enhance opportunities for value-added chili processing. Spearman’s test indicates that age, education, and technological experience significantly correlate with perceived ease of use, while income does not, suggesting that cognitive and technological experience factors play a greater role in shaping farmers’ perceptions than economic factors. Keywords: chili, farmer perception, post-harvest technology.
