Perennial crops are plants that grow and produce for many years and can be harvested repeatedly. Examples of perennial crops include coffee, rubber, coconut, and oil palm. These crops are frequently attacked by various mite species. This study aims to identify the mite species associated with perennial crops, thereby facilitating the recognition and management of mite infestation symptoms in these plants. The research was conducted in Timbangan Village, Palem Raya, and the ATC Field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya Utara District, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra Province. The results identified seven mite species. Mite dispersal can occur rapidly through wind and human activities. The mites found consisted of both phytophagous and predatory species. Mites can cause plant damage and reduce crop productivity. Infestation symptoms typically appear as yellow spots on the underside of the leaves. Mites damage plants by extracting nutrient-rich fluids from the leaf tissues.
