ANALISIS KESTABILAN DAN PROBABILITAS KELONGSORAN LERENG TIMBUNAN DENGAN METODE LIMIT EQUILIBRIUM PADA BACKFILL PIT X PT BUKIT ASAM TBK SUMATERA SELATAN
Slope stability is an important factor in the sustainability of the mining process, a stable slope will reduce the potential for losses due to landslides. Analysis of the stability of backfilling slopes is considered very necessary, because landslides on backfilling slopes can cause quite large losses, both equipment loss and loss of life as well as lost opportunities. It is known that changes in berm play an important role in stability because they can affect the FK and PoF values. Embankment slopes are relatively more susceptible to landslides than in-situ material slopes because the embankment slope structure is less dense and its composition is different from in-situ material slopes. The research results show a relationship between changes in slope geometry, namely berm lengths of 20 meters, 25 meters, 30 meters, 35 meters, 40 meters. Several variations were carried out to increase the berm width which resulted in changes in the FK and PoF values. The longer the berm width, the greater the FK and PoF values of the slope. The analysis results show that the ideal berm width used is 40 meters in Section A-A' and 40 meters in section B-B' with an FK value for section A-A' of 1,379 having a PoF (3,25 %) while for section B-B' an FK value of 1.274 has a PoF (7 .75%).
