ANALISIS SENTIMEN NETIZEN DAN FENOMENA HIJACKING PADA POSTINGAN PERINGATAN HUT KE-80 REPUBLIK INDONESIA DI AKUN INSTAGRAM @DPR_RI
This study examines the comment hijacking phenomenon in the post commemorating the 80TH anniversary of the republic of indonesia on the official instagram account @dpr_ri, dated august 17, 2025. A post intended to celebrate national independence was instead flooded with critical comments regarding housing allowances for members of the house of representatives (dpr), legislative performance, and public dissatisfaction with state institutions, reflecting digital resistance within the social media public sphere. The research problems focus on the forms of netizen sentiment (positive, negative, neutral) and the patterns of hijacking as expressions of digital resistance. The objectives are to describe and analyze both aspects. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, using a single case study design. Primary data consisting of 250 comments were collected through scraping between august 20–30, 2025, utilizing tools such as easy scraper and apify. Data analysis followed the miles and huberman model, with triangulation applied to ensure validity. Findings reveal the dominance of negative sentiment expressed through sarcastic and emotional language. Hijacking occurred in a structured manner, shifting the celebratory narrative toward institutional criticism. This phenomenon indicates a crisis of legitimacy in dpr's communication in the digital era. Practical recommendation: institutions should adopt responsive and transparent digital communication.
