ANALISIS SPASIAL DINAMIKA TANAH LONGSOR DI KABUPATEN MUARA ENIM BERDASARKAN CURAH HUJAN DAN TUTUPAN LAHAN
Muara Enim Regency is characterized by high rainfall and rapid land cover changes due to mining activities, plantation expansion, and infrastructure development. This study aims to analyze the spatial–temporal influence of rainfall and land cover on landslide occurrences and to produce a more representative landslide hazard map. The analysis integrates monthly rainfall data, NDVI values derived from satellite imagery, and historical landslide occurrence data. The results indicate that high rainfall, particularly in March, April, and December (317–363 mm/month), is strongly correlated with an increase in landslide events, while during months with lower rainfall (136–154 mm/month), landslide occurrences are relatively minimal. Land cover dynamics show a decrease in NDVI values from high (0.6–0.7) to moderate and low levels (0.3–0.4) due to land clearing activities, leading to increased surface runoff and reduced slope stability. The interaction between heavy rainfall and land cover degradation has been proven to be the main factor contributing to increased landslide hazard. This spatial–temporal approach is essential as a basis for disaster mitigation and risk-based spatial planning in Muara Enim Regency. Keywords: Muara Enim, Rainfall, Land Cover
