WACANA KABUR AJA DULU PADA TAYANGAN CATATAN DEMOKRASI KANAL YOUTUBE TVONENEWS (ANALISIS WACANA KRITIS NORMAN FAIRCLOUGH)

This study analyzes the Kabur Aja Dulu discourse in the Catatan Demokrasi program on TvOneNews using Norman Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis. The objective is to deconstruct the construction of the discourse regarding Indonesian migration abroad. The results indicate that this discourse is constructed as an ideological struggle between state hegemony and civil resistance. Textually, the officials' "Politics of Fear" strategy is deconstructed by the citizens "Economic Rationality" arguments. In discursive practice, TvOne applies "Media Populism," which is responded to by the audience through oppositional reading. In terms of social practice, this discourse reflects the mismanagement of the Demographic Bonus and credential inflation, creating an educated precariat class. It is concluded that this phenomenon is a structural critique against the state's failure to guarantee welfare, rather than merely a social media trend.
