The planning and design of the Fisheries Office and Fish Hatchery Center in Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir (PALI) Regency aim to provide representative, functional, and sustainable public service facilities to support the development of the regional fisheries sector. These facilities are expected to improve the quality of administrative services, technical guidance, and fish seed production, contributing to food security and the local community's economic growth. The site planning is based on spatial requirements analysis, site conditions, and surrounding environmental characteristics. The Fisheries Office is designed as a center for administrative activities, program planning, and public services, with an efficient, comfortable, and accessible spatial layout. Meanwhile, the Fish Hatchery Center is planned as a technical facility consisting of hatchery ponds, broodstock maintenance areas, a simple laboratory, feed storage, and supporting facilities. The building design concept emphasizes thermal comfort. The use of natural ventilation, natural lighting, and proper water management systems is prioritized to create a healthy and energy-efficient working environment. In addition, the building mass arrangement separates administrative functions from technical hatchery operations to ensure safety, hygiene, and smooth operational activities. Overall, the planning and design of the Fisheries Office and Fish Hatchery Center are expected to become strategic facilities in supporting sustainable fisheries development in PALI Regency, while also serving as an example of efficient, environmentally friendly government buildings focused on public service excellence.
