PENGARUH GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN DEMOKRATIS GURU TERHADAP PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER TANGGUNG JAWAB PESERTA DIDIK PADA PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN PANCASILA DI SMA NEGERI 1 INDRALAYA
This study was conducted with the aim of determining the influence of teachers' democratic leadership style on the formation of students' responsible character in Pancasila Education learning at SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive statistical methods. The population in this study were all students in grade XI, totaling 362 people. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling based on various specific criteria. The data collection techniques used were documentation techniques, questionnaires using a Likert scale and observation using a Guttman scale. The data analysis technique used a simple linear regression test assisted by SPSS software version 27. Based on the results of the study, it shows that there is an influence of teachers' democratic leadership style on the formation of students' responsible character at SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya. This is proven by looking at the results of a simple regression test, namely the results obtained constant (α) is 52.521 teachers' democratic leadership style while the formation of responsible character (b) is .919. Based on the t-table value of the teacher's democratic leadership style variable (x) has a calculated t greater than the t-table (11.738 > 1.993). From the results of the hypothesis test, the sig. (2-tailed) value is .00. it is found that the data is less than .05, so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Therefore, based on this decision, there is an influence of the teacher's democratic leadership style on the formation of students' responsible character in Pancasila Education learning at SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya. This influence can be seen from the increase in the average results of consistent observations, namely 63% and an increase of 66.0% based on the r-square value.
