OPTIMALISASI PRODUKSI SEMEN MELALUI MODEL GOAL PROGRAMMING: STUDI KASUS SEMEN OPC TIPE I DAN SEMEN PCC DI PABRIK II PT. SEMEN BATURAJA
This study aims to optimize cement production planning at Plant II of PT Semen Baturaja Tbk. using the Goal Programming method, with a specific focus on OPC Type I and PCC cement products. The primary objectives of the Goal Programming model are to maximize production targets and minimize raw material usage while considering various production constraints and resource limitations. The data used in this study cover the period from January to March 2025. The results indicate that the Goal Programming model is able to generate a more optimal production plan. For OPC Type I cement, the optimal production volumes are 55,000 tons in January, 52,000 tons in February, and 33,000 tons in March. Meanwhile, for PCC cement, the recommended production volumes are 122,000 tons in January, 91,000 tons in February, and 66,000 tons in March. Compared to the actual production conditions, the Goal Programming model results in increased production for OPC cement in January and February, an adjustment in PCC production in February, and reduced production for both cement types in March in order to maintain consistency with raw material constraints and process capacity limitations. Overall, the Goal Programming model can serve as an effective decision-support tool to enhance the efficiency of production planning and control at PT Semen Baturaja Tbk.
