ANALISIS DUKUNGAN SOSIAL KELUARGA DALAM PROSES PEMULIHAN PASIEN DI RUMAH SINGGAH SRIWIJAYA KOTA PALEMBANG
This research aims to analyze in depth the implementation of family social support for outpatients at the Sriwijaya Halfway House, Palembang City. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study examines the provision of support across four dimensions: emotional, instrumental, informational, and appraisal. Data were gathered through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation from six informants, including patients, accompanying families, and the manager. The results show that patient recovery is significantly supported by the provision of foundation operational facilities, such as the use of the foundation owner's private car, which is operated for routine medical transportation, and the availability of a reading room to address psychological boredom. The synergy between these physical facilities and the intensive presence of the family is proven to minimize mental stress and increase the optimism of underprivileged patients. This study concludes that an integrated ecosystem in the halfway house is a key factor in maintaining the continuity of the treatment process and improving the quality of life for patients from outside the region.
