PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR DIGITAL FLIPBOOK BERBASIS CERITA PARA NABI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN LITERASI SISWA DI SMP NEGERI 3 PANGKAL PINANG

This research aims to produce a digital flipbook teaching material based on stories of the prophets to improve students' literacy in learning to write short stories at SMP Negeri 3 Pangkal Pinang. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study using a modified development model of Borg & Gall and Allesi and Trollip. The sources of this study are Indonesian language teachers and ninth-grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Pangkal Pinang. Based on the results of needs analysis of teachers and students, digital flipbook teaching materials based on the prophets' stories are highly needed in short story writing learning for ninth-grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Pangkal Pinang. Subsequently, the design and initial development of the product were carried out through creating a flowchart, storyboard, preparing the material, and integrating all product designs. Next, an initial field trial was conducted, namely expert validation on aspects of material, media, and language. In terms of content, the product received a score of 36 with a percentage of 81,81% or a very feasible category. In terms of media, the product received a score of 59 with a percentage of 92.18% or a very feasible category. In terms of language, the product received a score of 34 with a percentage of 94.44% or a very feasible category. After revising the design, a limited field test was conducted with students by distributing pre-tests and post-tests to measure the effectiveness of the developed teaching materials. The results showed that the digital flipbook teaching materials based on stories of the prophets to improve student literacy in short story writing lessons for ninth-grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Pangkal Pinang were effective for use in learning.
