ANALISIS PRAKTIK PENGGUNAAN MATERIAL RAMAH LINGKUNGAN PADA BANGUNAN GEDUNG (STUDI KASUS: GEDUNG PELAYANAN PARU RSUD SITI FATIMAH KOTA PALEMBANG)
Hospitals are buildings with significant environmental impacts due to high energy and material consumption, making the application of eco-friendly materials an essential component of green building implementation. The Government of Indonesia, through the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Housing Number 21 of 2021, establishes performance assessment criteria for green buildings, including the use of eco-friendly building materials. This study aims to identify the types of eco-friendly materials used and to analyze the level of their implementation in the construction of the Pulmonary Service Building of Siti Fatimah Regional General Hospital, Palembang City. A descriptive research method with a case study approach was employed. Data were collected through document analysis of the Bill of Quantities and Technical Specifications, field observations, and questionnaires. The analysis was conducted based on the criteria for eco-friendly material usage as stipulated in Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Housing Number 21 of 2021. The results indicate that the implementation of eco-friendly materials achieved 8 out of 21 assessment points, equivalent to 38.10%, with dominant fulfillment in the use of local materials and control of hazardous substances. However, the application of certified eco-friendly materials and waste-based materials has not been optimally implemented.
