EVALUASI TEKNIS FASILITAS PEJALAN KAKI DI SEPANJANG JALUR LRT PALEMBANG
Pedestrian facilities along the LRT corridor are one of the most needed pedestrian facilities in the city of Palembang. Currently, the available facilities are not functioning optimally, because they do not meet the established technical standards. The purpose of this study is to identify the availability and evaluate pedestrian facilities along the LRT corridor. The method used is quantitative research by evaluating the condition of pedestrian facilities observed along 200 m from the direction of the SMB II Airport LRT Station - DJKA LRT Station (before) and from the direction of the DJKA LRT Station - SMB II Airport LRT Station (after) each LRT station based on the Circular Letter of the Minister of PUPR Number 18 / Se / Db / 2023 and the Institute for Transportation Development Policy (ITDP). The results of the analysis show that of the 14 pedestrian facilities studied, emergency boxes and artificial shade are not available at all LRT stations. Based on the results of the evaluation 200 m before each LRT station, 50% were found to be available and met the technical standard criteria, then 42.9% were available but did not meet the technical standard criteria and 7.1% were not available and did not meet the technical standard criteria. Meanwhile, after each LRT station, 42.9% of the facilities were available and met the technical standard criteria, then 50% were available but did not meet the technical standard criteria and 7.1% were not available and did not meet the technical standard criteria, so improving pedestrian facilities along the Palembang LRT corridor is very necessary, such as adding emergency box facilities at each LRT station and installing artificial shade for at least 200 m before and after each LRT station so that road users feel comfortable walking.
