ANALISIS IMPLEMENTASI PEMBERIAN TABLET TAMBAH DARAH PADA REMAJA PUTRI DALAM RANGKA PENCEGAHAN ANEMIA DI SMP N 44 PALEMBANG DAN SMP N 1 BANYUASIN II

Background : Anemia in adolescent girls is a public health problem that impacts development, academic achievement, and reproductive readiness. One national effort to overcome anemia is the routine provision of Iron Supplement Tablets (TTD) in schools. Objective: This study aims to analyze the implementation of the TTD provision program for adolescent girls at SMPN 44 Palembang and SMPN 1 Banyuasin II using Edward III's policy implementation theory, which includes communication variables, resources, executive disposition, and bureaucratic structure. Methods : The study used a qualitative method with a multiple case study design through in-depth interviews, observations, and document reviews. Results : The results showed that communication aspects were not running evenly, shown by differences in information between schools, health centers and parents, for example, information on the TTD schedule was not conveyed consistently from adolescents to parents. The clarity of messages also differed between implementers, and the consistency of policies was not standardized. Resources in the form of human resources, facilities, TTD logistics, and budget requirements varied due to geographical conditions such as difficult access and rural areas. The disposition of implementers influenced motivation, task understanding, and the lack of incentives, thus affecting the quality of program implementation. The bureaucratic structure is not fully supported by clear standard operating procedures (SOPs) and integrated coordination mechanisms. Technical implementation shows that routine iron supplement consumption is still low. Conclusion : This study emphasizes the need for strengthened communication, increased resource capacity, enhanced motivation of implementers, and improved bureaucratic structures to increase the success of anemia prevention programs for adolescent girls
