ANALISIS SEMIOTIKA MENGENAI SUPERIORITY COMPLEX DALAM SERIAL TV ANIME ADAPTASI NOVEL 86 (EIGHTY SIX)

This study aims to analyze the superiority complex in the anime television series "86." In this context, a superiority complex refers to the attitudes and behaviors of individuals or groups who feel superior to others. This can be seen in the interactions of the characters and the narrative in this anime. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with Charles Sanders Piecre's semiotics to explore the meaning contained in visual and verbal symbols. This study will reveal how the superiority complex is constructed and represented in this story. The data used includes analysis of episodes, characters, and social interactions that occur, as well as statistics regarding audience reception and criticism of the themes raised. This study is expected to provide results on the superiority complex seen in the characters in this story. This study also shows not only the negative traits of the superiority complex but also the nature of feeling that they are the only ones who are worthy. This study is expected to contribute to anime studies and media studies in general.
