PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA BERBASIS WEBSITE PADA PEMBELAJARAN PEMODELAN MATEMATIKA DENGAN KONTEKS LPG UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN LITERASI MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS IX
This study aims to develop website-based learning media for Mathematical modeling learning with LPG context to improve junior high school students' Mathematical literacy skills. The method used is design research type development studies through Tessmer's formative evaluation flow, including self-evaluation, expert review, one-to-one, small group and field test. The product was tested from the validity and practicality aspects. The expert validation results showed that the media was very valid with a score of 4.38 in the media aspect and 4.25 in the material aspect. The practicality test at the small group stage obtained a score of 75.79 practical category. The characteristics of the resulting media include: 1) The characteristics of the website media include a Mathematical modeling cycle in learning; 2) The characteristics of the website media have proven the validity and practicality of the website media in supporting Mathematical modeling learning; 3) The characteristics of the website media include the presentation of real-life contextual problems, namely the LPG context; 4) The characteristics of the website media facilitate the improvement of Mathematical literacy skills through Mathematical modeling with the LPG context. Learning media has also been implemented in 1 class in the field test stage which resulted in media with a potential effect of After the use of media in the experimental class, approximately 38% of students reached the very high category, 44% high, and 19% sufficient in Mathematical literacy skills to improve the Mathematical literacy skills of grade IX students. Thus, the website-based media developed is proven to be valid, practical, and has a potential effect on Mathematical literacy skills.
