UPAYA INDONESIA DALAM PENINGKATAN KAPASITAS MILITER MELALUI KERJA SAMA BILATERAL DENGAN PERANCIS TAHUN 2020-2024
The Minimum Essential Force is a policy established by Indonesia to strengthen its national defense. It is implemented in three stages: Stage I (2009–2014), Stage II (2015–2019), and Stage III (2020–2024). Indonesia has completed the first two stages and is now in the third stage. In fulfilling the requirements of the third stage of the Minimum Essential Force, Indonesia has established cooperation with France, which includes various forms such as the procurement of defense equipment, technology and knowledge transfer, and the development of technological capabilities and military personnel. This cooperation serves Indonesia’s effort to meet the objectives of the Minimum Essential Force policy, while also strengthening national security and defense, promoting self-reliance in the defense industry, and enhancing the professionalism of the Indonesian National Armed Forces.
