ANALISIS HUBUNGAN SIFAT FISIK TERHADAP SIFAT HIDROLIS TANAH (STUDI KASUS : TANAH LEMPUNG DAN LANAU PADA DAERAH OGAN ILIR)
Soil is a multi-phase material composed of solid particles, water, and air, exhibiting diverse characteristics influenced by its formation process and environment. These characteristics are reflected in its physical, hydraulic, mechanical, and chemical properties. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the physical and hydraulic properties of soil to predict specific soil properties based on others. The analysis shows that the relationships among physical properties generally exhibit positive linear correlations with high R² values. Regarding the relationship between physical properties and the coefficient of permeability, an increase in the void ratio tends to increase permeability, whereas a higher plasticity index leads to a decrease. The correlations between consolidation parameters and physical properties vary. Specifically, in the correlation of physical properties (atterberg limit) with the compression index, all parameters show positive correlations, with the strongest relationship observed between the plasticity index and the compression index.
