KEMAMPUAN LITERASI NUMERASI SISWA PADA KONTEN ALJABAR MELALUI MODEL CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING (CPS)
This study aims to describe students' numeracy literacy skills using the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model in the Two Variable Linear Equation System (SPLDV) material. Numeracy literacy skills are the ability to use numbers and basic mathematical symbols to solve real problems, present information in various formats such as graphs, tables, or charts, and interpret the results of analysis to support decision making. This study used a descriptive method involving 33 ninth-grade junior high school students. The learning activities were designed to integrate the stages of the CPS model in solving SPLDV problems. Data were collected through tests based on numeracy literacy ability indicators and then categorized into five categories, namely very good, good, fair, poor, and very poor. The results of the study show that the CPS model generally has a fairly good impact on students' numeracy literacy, especially in representing, interpreting, and applying mathematical information in everyday contexts. The results of this study recommend the application of innovative approaches such as CPS in mathematics learning to strengthen students' numeracy literacy in two-variable linear equation systems.
