SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN REKOMENDASI MAKANAN BAGI PENDERITA DIABETES TIPE 2 DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE AHP-SMART
Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disease that requires proper dietary management to control blood glucose levels. However, many people with diabetes experience difficulties in determining food choices that meet their daily nutritional needs. Therefore, this study aims to develop a decision support system for healthy food recommendations for patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The system is developed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) methods. The AHP method is used to determine the importance weights of nutritional criteria through pairwise comparisons, while the SMART method is used to evaluate and rank food alternatives. The criteria used include calories, carbohydrates, protein, and fat. The food dataset and nutritional information were obtained from the FatSecret platform as a digital nutrition database source. The system is designed as a web-based application and tested using black-box testing. The results show that the system is able to provide food recommendations that function as expected and deliver systematic and objective recommendations. This system is expected to help people with diabetes choose healthy foods and support more effective daily dietary management.
