ANALISIS WACANA KRITIS BERBASIS KORPUS ATAS OPINI PUBLIK TERHADAP FILM MERAH PUTIH: ONE FOR ALL DI MEDIA SOSIAL X

This study aims to examine how digital public discourse constructs and negotiates the meaning of nationalism through public opinions on Social Media X regarding the film Merah Putih: One for All. This research employs a qualitative approach with Critical Discourse Analysis as the primary analytical framework, drawing on Fairclough’s three-dimensional model, which consists of textual analysis, discursive practice, and social practice. Corpus linguistics techniques are utilized as analytical tools to identify linguistic patterns within the data. The research data consist of selected and processed public comments on Social Media X, which are analyzed through patterns of word usage, collocation, and concordance. The findings indicate that evaluative words such as jelek, poster, bajakan and sakit dominate public discourse, representing criticism of the film’s visual quality and production value. At the level of discursive practice, collocational patterns reveal that symbols of nationalism and state involvement are frequently constructed in relation to public criticism and disappointment. At the level of social practice, the findings indicate a shift in the meaning of nationalism in the digital public sphere, from symbolic nationalism toward a more reflective, critical, and evaluative form in response to the representation of the state in popular cultural products.
