PENGELOMPOKAN KABUPATEN/KOTA DI SUMATERA BAGIAN SELATAN MENURUT PRODUKSI PERTANIAN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN ANALISIS BIPLOT DAN ANALISIS KLASTER
The agricultural sector plays an important role in supporting food security, providing raw materials, and improving the economy of a country. The purpose of this study was to determine agricultural production results graphically and grouping districts/municipalities based on agricultural production results using biplot analysis and single linkage and complete linkage cluster analysis. The object of this study included 60 districts/municipalities in Southern Sumatra. The biplot analysis results show that Tanjung Jabung Timur has higher production of areca nut and coconut. Pesawaran has higher cocoa production. South OKU has higher coffee production than the other districts/municipalities. Musi Banyuasin has higher rubber and palm oil production compared to other districts/municipalities. The clustering results obtained from each clustering method are two clusters. Members of the two clusters resulting from Single linkage consist of 59 and 1 districts/municipalities, while members of the two clusters resulting from complete linkage consist of 53 and 7 districts/municipalities. Single linkage produces the smallest standard deviation ratio value of 0.0257 so that the objects in the cluster have a high level of similarity.
