PENGARUH PELAKSANAAN PLP TERHADAP KEPUTUSAN MELANJUTKAN STUDI KE PPG PADA MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN EKONOMI ANGKATAN 2020 UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA
For students of the Education Study Program itself, the decision to continue their studies to the next level, namely PPG, can be influenced by various factors, one of which is direct experience as a teacher in an educational unit, namely a school. Where this experience is obtained from the implementation of PLP (Preparation for Teaching Practice). However, in reality, some education students still have no interest or desire to become professional teachers. This study aims to determine whether or not there is a positive influence of PLP implementation on the decision to continue their studies to PPG among economics education students of the 2020 class of Sriwijaya University. This study uses a quantitative research approach with a causal associative research type with the research population consisting of economics education students. The research sample used in this study was 60 students from a total population of 71 students. The data collection technique was carried out using questionnaire and interview methods. The results of the independent sample t-test analysis showed a calculated t value = 6,043 ˃ t table = 2002; and sig. value less than 0,001 < 0,05. This means that there is a significant influence of the implementation of PLP on the decision to continue studying to PPG in economic education students with a large influence of the implementation of PLP of 38.6%, while the remaining 61.4% is influenced by other variables.
