RESPONS ULAT KANTUNG TERHADAP VARIASI VOLUME SEMPROT DAN UKURAN DROPLET MENGGUNAKAN DRONE APLIKASI PADA TANAMAN KELAPA SAWIT
Bagworms (Lepidoptera: Psychidae) are a major pest of oil palm that can cause defoliation and reduce productivity. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of bagworm control using botanical insecticides with varying spray volumes and droplet sizes based on drone application. The study was conducted with seven treatments combining spray volume and droplet size. This study used purposive sampling on 24 plants per treatment. The results indicated that several treatment combinations showed a clearer trend of population decline. In general, lower spray volume settings and the use of larger droplets appeared to contribute positively to increased spray deposition and bagworm mortality in the oil palm seedling phase.
