ANALISIS SIFAT FISIK DAN MEKANIK MORTAR DENGAN VARIASI PERSENTASE NANOSILIKA HASIL SINTESIS FLY ASH METODE HIDROTERMAL SEBAGAI SUBSTITUSI SEMEN
Nanosilica is nano-sized silica (1–100 nm) used as a partial cement substitute to improve the physical and mechanical properties of mortar. In this study, nanosilica synthesized from fly ash using the hydrothermal method was incorporated into mortar with varying concentrations of 0%, 3%, 6%, 9%, and 12%. The tests included slump flow, setting time, density, and compressive strength. The results showed that a higher nanosilica content reduced the slump flow from 115% to 1.5% and accelerated the setting time, with the initial setting time decreasing from 300 minutes to 120 minutes and the final setting time decreasing from 525 minutes to 225 minutes. The mortar density decreased from 2167.7 kg/m³ to 2047.4 kg/m³. The compressive strength increased from 11.19 MPa to 17.67 MPa at 3%, then decreased at 6% and 9%, and increased again at 12% to 24.67 MPa.
