Snack consumption behavior is a form of action or habit in selecting, purchasing, and consuming snacks or soft drinks outside of main meals, both in or outside of school. Unhealthy snack consumption behavior can have negative impacts on children's growth and development. Knowledge about healthy snacks is an important factor that can influence daily food choices. Furthermore, the role of peers also influences students' snack consumption behavior. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge of healthy snacks and the role of peers with snack consumption behavior among elementary school students. This is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. The sample size for this study was 84 students selected using a probability sampling method with stratified random sampling. The results showed that the majority of respondents were in the good category (48 students (57.1%), with the role of peers being in the moderate category (36 students (42.9%), and with good category in snack consumption behavior (65 students (77.4%). Statistical analysis in this study used the Chi-Square test. Based on the analysis results, obtained a p-value of 0.0040, p-value ≤ a (0.05), indicated a relationship between knowledge of healthy snacks and students' snack consumption behavior and a p-value of 0.637, p- value > α (0.05), indicated no relationship between the role of peers and students' snack consumption behavior. The implications of this study are expected to serve as a reference for further research examining other factors related to snack consumption behavior in elementary school students, such as attitudes, pocket money, parental role, and the role of the school.
