Oyster mushroom planting media waste is defined as the residual material from the planting medium that remains after oyster mushroom harvesting activities are carried out. Liquid smoke is considered relatively safer to use in the food preservation process compared to direct smoking methods, because the content of harmful compounds, such as tar and other carcinogenic components, has been greatly reduced and can even be eliminated. The method used is a descriptive method. The stages of research implementation include literature studies, interviews with related parties, observations about tools, and data calculations. A distiller is a device used to carry out the distillation process of liquid smoke. Testing of distiller equipment that produces liquid smoke using pyrolysis liquid smoke from baglog waste as an ingredient from pyrolysis liquid smoke obtained from a mushroom house in Payakabung village, Ogan Ilir Regency. The distillation process is carried out for 8 hours which produces liquid smoke. The distiller has a theoretical capacity value of 6.00 L/hour, the effective capacity of the tool reaches 5.875 L/hour, the efficiency value of the tool reaches 97.92% and the yield is 97.92%. The results of financial analysis (Net Present Value, BEP, B/C Ratio and IRR) and all criteria are financially viable.
