HUBUNGAN PENGGUNAAN NARKOTIKA TERHADAP PERILAKU SEKSUAL BERISIKO DI REHABILITASI NARKOBA KOTA PALEMBANG
Background : Narcotics use can affect an individual’s self-control, and this condition may potentially increase the risk of engaging in risky sexual behavior among drug rehabilitation patients. Methods : This study employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The study population consisted of clients undergoing drug rehabilitation in Palembang City who were successfully interviewed. A purposive sampling technique was used, resulting in a total of 61 respondents. Data analysis included univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analyses. Results : Bivariate analysis using the chi-square test showed that the variable significantly associated with risky sexual behavior was age at first drug use. Multivariate analysis using multiple logistic regression with a risk factor model indicated a significant relationship between age at first drug use (p-value = 0.043) and risky sexual behavior after controlling for injection drug use, age at first sexual intercourse, and employment status among patients in drug rehabilitation in Palembang City.
