PENGARUH ETNOPEDAGOGI PADA PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN PANCASILA TERHADAP TINGKAT PEMAHAMAN PESERTA DIDIK DALAM MATERI KEBERAGAMAN MASYARAKAT INDONESIA DI SMPN 18 PALEMBANG
This study aims to determine the influence of ethnopedagogy on Pancasila Education learning on students' comprehension levels of the topic of diversity in Indonesian society at SMPN 18 Palembang. This research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method. The population of the study includes all seventh-grade students at SMPN 18 Palembang, totaling 360 students. The research sample consists of class VII.1 as the experimental class and class VII.2 as the control class, with a total of 72 students, selected using purposive sampling techniques. The data collection techniques used are tests, observation, and documentation, with data analysis involving normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing. The research results indicate that the implementation of ethnopedagogy has a significant impact on improving students understanding of the diversity of Indonesian society at SMPN 18 Palembang. This is evidenced by the hypothesis testing results using a non-parametric test, specifically the Mann�Whitney U test with the assistance of SPSS version 29, which obtained a significance value of 0.001 with an (α) value of 0.05. Thus, the result obtained is sig. 0.001 < 0.05, therefore the decision made is to reject Ho and accept Ha.
