This research aims to analyze the strategies of Pancasila Education teachers as extracurricular coaches of the four pillars of nationality in improving students' critical thinking skills at SMA Negeri 1 Tanah Abang. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation. The research informants consisted of one Pancasila Education teacher who was the extracurricular coach for the four pillars of nationality, one deputy principal for student affairs, and two students as member checks using data analysis techniques in the form of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The data validity tests in this research are credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability. The results of the research show that the Pancasila education teacher's strategy in improving students' critical thinking skills is obtained through extracurricular activities on the four pillars of nationality, where the activities include seven main indicators, namely, conveying goals and preparing students, demonstrating knowledge and skills so as to invite students to interpret a problem, providing training guidance to facilitate students in developing analytical skills, checking understanding and feedback by looking at students' abilities in concluding analysis results, providing opportunities for further practice for students so they can evaluate the results obtained during learning activities, providing opportunities for students to improve their abilities. explain, provide guidance so that students can carry out self-regulationThis strategy was proven to be effective in improving critical thinking skills with an observation score of 90% in the excellent category.
