ANALISIS TEKNIS DAN FINANSIAL ALAT PIROLISATOR MENGHASILKAN ASAP CAIR DARI LIMBAH BAGLOG JAMUR TIRAM
Oyster mushroom baglog waste is one of the agricultural wastes whose quantity continues to increase and may cause environmental problems if it is not properly managed. One alternative utilization of this waste is through a pyrolysis process to produce liquid smoke with functional and economic value. This study aimed to analyze the technical performance and financial feasibility of a pyrolyzer in processing oyster mushroom baglog waste into liquid smoke in Payakabung Village, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. The research was conducted using a descriptive method through direct observation of the equipment operation and calculation of technical and financial parameters. The pyrolysis process used 50 kg of baglog waste as raw material with an operating time of 8 hours and produced 15 liters of liquid smoke. The technical analysis showed that the pyrolyzer had a theoretical capacity of 6.25 L/hour and an effective capacity of 1.875 L/hour, with a process efficiency of 30% and a yield of 0.30%. The financial analysis indicated that the total annual operational cost was Rp 84,899,043, consisting of fixed and variable costs. Based on the investment feasibility indicators, the Net Present Value (NPV) was Rp 180,264,256, the Net Benefit-Cost Ratio (Net B/C) was 2, and the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) was 20%, which is higher than the applied interest rate. Therefore, the pyrolyzer is technically and financially feasible to be utilized for processing oyster mushroom baglog waste into value-added liquid smoke.
