PENGARUH EDUKASI PP-MPASI KUAS (PANDUAN PINTAR MAKANAN PENDAMPING AIR SUSU IBU UNTUK KESEHATAN DAN UPAYA ANTI STUNTING) TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN IBU
Stunting is a nutritional problem in children that affects physical growth and development. One factor is the inappropriate practice of providing complementary foods. Mothers play a crucial role in preventing stunting by increasing their understanding of appropriate complementary foods. This study aims to determine the effect of PP-MPASI KUAS education on mothers' knowledge. This study employed a quantitative method with a pre- experimental, one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of mothers with infants aged 0-5 months selected using nonprobability sampling techniques with purposive sampling and quota sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire to measure mothers' knowledge about complementary foods and stunting. Data analysis included univariate analysis to describe respondent characteristics and mothers' knowledge levels, and bivariate analysis using the marginal homogeneity test with a significance level of a = 0.05. The results showed that before education with the Complementary Food and Nutrition (PP-MPASI KUAS) program, the majority of mothers' knowledge was categorized as poor (27 respondents or 60.0%) and sufficient (14 respondents or 31.1%). After education, mothers' knowledge increased significantly with the majority in the good category (36 respondents or 80.0%).
