ANALISIS POTENSI DAMPAK REVITALISASI KERETA API KERTALAYA TERHADAP MOBILITAS DAN WAKTU TEMPUH MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA
The revitalization of Kertalaya Railway connecting Palembang–Indralaya aims to enhance Universitas Sriwijaya student mobility. This study analyzes existing mobility characteristics, identifies mode choice factors, and evaluates revitalization impacts on mobility and travel time through simulation. A quantitative approach employs Unsri student surveys, binary logistic regression for current mode choice determinants, stated preference for scenario-based preference shifts, and PTV Visum for trip distribution and travel time simulation. Ease of payment and peer influence significantly affect current conditions; operational attributes like fare, travel time, and congestion drive preference shifts, with railway mode share increasing under subsidized fares and stable service but decreasing with high waiting times and congestion. Simulation indicates potential mobility and travel efficiency improvements if service quality is maintained. Revitalization success depends on individual social/transactional factors and operational service quality.
