Background Hemorrhagic stroke is a neurological condition with high mortality, particularly in patients requiring mechanical ventilation due to decreased consciousness or respiratory failure. Initial neurological severity, comorbidities, and complications during hospitalization may influence patient outcomes. This study aimed to analyze factors associated with mortality in hemorrhagic stroke patients receiving mechanical ventilation. Methods This was a retrospective observational analytic study using medical record data of hemorrhagic stroke patients who received mechanical ventilation at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Hospital, Palembang, from January to December 2024.
