FAKTOR-FAKTOR RISIKO YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KELELAHAN KERJA PADA PEKERJA LAUNDRY DI KECAMATAN SEBERANG ULU 2 KOTA PALEMBANG TAHUN 2025
Laundry work is a type of occupation that requires considerable physical exertion and is closely associated with work-related fatigue. This is due to the laundry work process involving manual handling activities that require workers to use their bodies or physical strength while performing their tasks. This study aimed to analyze risk factors associated with work fatigue among laundry workers in Seberang Ulu 2 District, Palembang City, in 2025. This research used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design and a sample of 95 respondents. Data analysis techniques included univariate and bivariate analysis using the chi-square test. The results of the study using the Industrial Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC) questionnaire among laundry workers showed that 57 workers (60.0%) experienced moderate work fatigue and 38 workers (40.0%) experienced mild work fatigue. Bivariate analysis showed that there were significant relationships between age (p=0.001), sleep quality (p=0.000), length of employment (p=0.001), working duration (p=0.006), rest time (p=0.001), work posture (p=0.001), and workplace temperature (p=0.001) with work fatigue among laundry workers in Seberang Ulu 2 District, Palembang City, 2025. However, there was no relationship between nutritional status (p=0.217) and workload (p=0.135) with work fatigue among laundry workers in Seberang Ulu 2 District, Palembang City, 2025. Laundry workers can reduce work fatigue by doing stretching exercises between working periods, consuming nutritious food and mineral water, getting sufficient sleep, making good use of rest time such as for short naps, and applying proper load-lifting techniques.
