PERSEPSI PESERTA DIDIK SMAN 1 INDRALAYA TERHADAP PROGRAM PEMERINTAH MAKAN BERGIZI GRATIS
This study aims to determine students’ perceptions of the Government’s Free Nutritious Meal Program (Makan Bergizi Gratis/MBG) at SMAN 1 Indralaya. The MBG program is one of the government’s priority policies designed to improve nutritional status, health, and the quality of human resources, particularly students. This research employed a quantitative approach using a descriptive method. Data were collected through questionnaires based on a Likert scale and supported by documentation data. The research subjects were students of SMAN 1 Indralaya from grade X, grade XI, and Grade XII, with a sample of 90 students’ who participated in the MBG Program. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis to identify students’ perception tendenciestoward the program. The resultsshow that students’ perceptions of the Free Nutritious Meal Program fall into a positive category. This is indicated by the high average percentage scores on aspects of students’ understanding of the program, the objectives of the program, and the perceived benefits of the program. These findings suggest that the MBG program at SMAN 1 Indralaya has been well understood and positively received by students. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Free Nutritious Meal Program has a positive impact on students, particularly in supporting nutritional fulfillment and improving learning concentration at school.
