ANALISIS TINGKAT KEBUGARAN JASMANI PESERTA EKSTRAKURIKULER PENCAK SILAT MAN 1 OGAN ILIR INDRALAYA
This study aims to analyze the level of physical fitness of pencak silat extracurricular participants at MAN 1 Ogan Ilir. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through a series of Nusantara Student Fitness Tests. The research sample amounted to 30 pencak silat extracurricular participants consisting of 16 male student and 14 female that aged 14–17 years. The instruments used include the measurement of Body Mass Index (BMI), V Sit and Reach Test to measure flexibility, Sit Up Test to measure abdominal muscle strength, Squat Thrust Test to measure muscle strength and endurance, and PACER Test to measure cardiorespiratory endurance. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics in the form of averages, percentages, and distribution of fitness categories. The results showed that most of the participants had nutritional status in the good nutrition category as many as 26 people (86.67%) with an average BMI of 19.44. In the flexibility component through the V Sit and Reach Test, all participants (100%) were in the very good category with an average score of 27.90 cm. However, in the abdominal muscle strength component through the Sit Up Test, the majority of participants were in the low category of 25 people (83.33%) with an average of 30.27. The results of the Squat Thrust Test showed that most of the participants were in the sufficient category as many as 18 people (60%) with an average of 8.93. Meanwhile, the results of the PACER Test showed that almost all participants were in the very low category of 29 people (96.67%) with an average of 29.83. Based on the overall calculation of TKPN, a proportion value of 1.36 was obtained, which shows that the level of physical fitness of the MAN 1 Ogan Ilir pencak silat extracurricular participants is in the poor category.
