This study is titled, "The Use of the Strava App in the Practice of Seeking Social Validation Among Teenage Runners in the Linggau Runners Community at Silampari Sports Park in Lubuklinggau." It examines how teenage runners engage with the platform to obtain peer validation. The objective of this research is to identify and analyse how the Strava App facilitates social validation within the Linggau Runners Community at Silampari Sports Park. Implementing a descriptive qualitative paradigm, the methodology utilizes a phenomenological research strategy underpinned by Erving Goffman's dramaturgical theory. Data were gathered through direct field observations, qualitative interviews, document analysis, and an extensive literature review. Results indicate that teenage runners' utilization of the Strava App is driven by three primary factors: (1) conformity to social trends, (2) peer influence, and (3) interactive engagement with platform features. Utilizing the Strava App as a 'front stage' involves three core self-presentation strategies: (1) selective content distribution, (2) personal branding, and (3) seeking social validation. Conversely, the 'back stage' of these runners reveals a hidden reality characterized by: (1) unsatisfactory athletic performance, (2) a distinct lack of motivation, and (3) identity discrepancies Keywords: Social Validation, Teenage, Strava App
