Background: Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a progressive kidney function disorder that requires long-term hemodialysis therapy. Hemodialysis can cause psychological problems in the form of anxiety. A non-pharmacological therapy that can be used to reduce anxiety is a combination of lavender aromatherapy and Benson relaxation. Objective: To describe nursing care for chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis and the implications of providing a combination of lavender aromatherapy and Benson relaxation on anxiety nursing problems at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin General Hospital, Palembang. Method: This study was conducted on three patients using the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) instrument for assessment and evaluation. Lavender aromatherapy and Benson relaxation interventions were given routinely for three days. Patient l's pre-intervention score decreased from 38 (severe anxiety) to 10 (no anxiety), Patient 2's pre-intervention score decreased from 25 (moderate anxiety) to 10 (no anxiety), and Patient 3's pre-intervention score decreased from 32 (severe anxiety) to 9 (no anxiety).
