ANALISIS TINGKAT KEPATUHAN PENGGUNAAN ANALGESIK TERHADAP KUALITAS HIDUP PASIEN LOW BACK PAIN (LBP) DI RSUD SITI FATIMAH PROVINSI SUMSEL
Adherence to analgesic use is an important factor in the success of low back pain (LBP) patient therapy because it affects pain control and quality of life. This study aims to analyze the relationship between analgesic medication adherence and quality of life in LBP patients at Siti Fatimah General Hospital, South Sumatra Province. This is an observational study with a prospective cross-sectional approach involving 70 outpatients with LBP during the period of October-November 2025. Medication adherence was measured using the Morisky Medication Adherence Scale 8-item (MMAS-8) questionnaire, and quality of life was measured using the Short Form-36 (SF-36) questionnaire and patient medical records. The relationship was analyzed using Pearson's correlation test. The results showed that the level of adherence was in the moderate category (50%) and quality of life was also in the moderate category (60%).
