ANALISIS HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN IBU HAMIL TENTANG PENGGUNAAN TABLET Fe TERHADAP KADAR HEMOGLOBIN DI PUSKESMAS INDRALAYA
Anemia during pregnancy is a health problem that can cause serious complications for both the mother and the baby. Regular consumption of iron (Fe) tablets can prevent anemia; however, its effectiveness depends on the pregnant women’s level of knowledge regarding the proper use of Fe tablets. This study aimed to determine the level of knowledge of pregnant women about the use of Fe tablets, changes in hemoglobin levels, and to analyze the relationship between knowledge level and hemoglobin levels. This research was conducted from October to November 2025 at Puskesmas Indralaya using a cross-sectional method. Data were collected through questionnaires, while hemoglobin levels were obtained from laboratory examination results recorded in medical records. The relationship between knowledge and hemoglobin levels was analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that there was no significant relationship between the level of knowledge of pregnant women regarding the use of Fe tablets and hemoglobin levels (p = 0.095). However, pregnant women with better knowledge tended to have higher hemoglobin levels compared to respondents with lower knowledge levels.
