This study aims to examine the influence of Scout extracurricular activities on the development of students’ social skills at SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya Utara. The study employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The population consisted of all students participating in Scout extracurricular activities, totaling 281 students, while the sample was selected using a non-probability sampling technique, specifically purposive sampling, Sampling based on the criteria, namely students who have actively participated in scouting for at least one year, have achieved laksana and bantara and have participated in the main activities studied by the researcher, namely semaphore, morse, camping, rope-taking and routine training, so that the sample obtained based on these criteria is 40 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using simple linear regression indicated that Scout extracurricular activities have a positive and significant effect on the development of students’ social skills, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of .403 or 40.3%. This means that 40.3% of students’ social skill development can be explained by their involvement in Scout extracurricular activities, while the remaining 59.7% is influenced by other factors. These findings emphasize that Scout extracurricular activities not only teach technical scouting skills but also serve as an important medium for developing essential social skills in students’ daily lives.
