PERAN GURU PENDIDIKAN PANCASILA PADA LOMBA KEBERSIHAN KELAS DALAM MENINGKATKAN KARAKTER PEDULI LINGKUNGAN DI SMP NEGERI 2 GELUMBANG
This study aims to determine the role Pancasila Education teachers in classroom cleanliness competition in enhancing students' environmental care character at SMP Negeri 2 Gelumbang. This research employs a qualitative approach using a study method. The informants were selected through purposive sampling, involving five participants. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was tested using credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability tests. Based on the results of this study, it was found that the role of teachers in improving environmental care character through class cleanliness competitions is that teachers provide role models, motivation, and facilitators in class cleanliness competitions, so that competitions can continue to be carried out sustainably by schools, so that they can improve environmental care character in students.
