COLLABORATIVE GOVERNANCE DALAM UPAYA PENANGANAN PENYAKIT TUBERKULOSIS DI KOTA PALEMBANG SUMATERA SELATAN
This study was conducted to examine collaborative governance in tuberculosis management efforts in Palembang, South Sumatra, and to encourage government collaboration to address the problem. The study employed a descriptive-qualitative method, using data collection techniques such as interviews, observation, and documentation. This study utilized Ansell and Gash's (2008) theory of collaborative governance, with four variables: initial conditions, facilitative leadership, institutional design, and collaboration processes. The results indicate that collaborative governance in tuberculosis management efforts in Palembang, South Sumatra, is still far from optimal. This is due to the suboptimal performance of face-to-face dialogue and leadership roles. Despite the suboptimal performance of face-to-face dialogue and facilitative leadership, it is still effective in reducing tuberculosis cases in Palembang, South Sumatra. Based on the data analysis, the author recommends further enhancing educational outreach and providing outreach to the wider community, especially those in remote areas. Furthermore, utilizing social media technology to disseminate information about the dangers of tuberculosis and holding meetings for more effective discussions. Keywords: Collaborative Governance, Management, and Tuberculosis.
