PENGARUH LAMA PERENDAMAN AIR KELAPA MUDA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN SETEK BATANG TANAMAN TEMBELEKAN (LANTANA CAMARA L.).

Yellow sage (Lantana camara L.) is a plant that can flower all year round and has a variety of flower colors. This study aims to determine the optimal soaking time with young coconut water for the growth of tembelekan stem cuttings. The method used in this study was a Randomized Block Design (RBD), with 6 treatments and 3 replications with each treatments consisting of 6 plants, so that the total number of plants studied was 108 plants. The treatment consisted of P0 = Control, P1 = Soaking for 2 hours, P2 = Soaking for 4 hours, P3 = Soaking for 6 hours, P4 = Soaking for 8 hours, and P5 = Soaking for 10 hours. The data obtained were analyzed using variance (ANOVA) by comparing the calculated F value with the F table at 5% test level. If the calculated F is significantly different, it will be tested with a 5% Least Significance Different (LSD). The results of this study indicate that the best soaking time for young coconut water for the growth of stem cuttings of the tembelekan plant is soaking for 4 hours. This was because soaking for 4 hours resulted in the best growth of stem cutting height, number of leaves, length and fresh weight of roots
