ANALISIS KESENJANGAN DAN FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI IMPLEMENTASI GOOD AGRICULTURAL PRACTICES USAHATANI PADI RAWA LEBAK DI DESA AWAL TERUSAN KECAMATAN SIRAH PULAU PADANG KABUPATEN OGAN KOMERING ILIR
Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) are essential guidelines for improving productivity and sustainability in rice farming, particularly in lebak swamp areas with specific environmental characteristics. This study aims to analyze the level of GAP implementation and its gaps, as well as the factors influencing sustainable GAP implementation in lebak swamp rice farming in Awal Terusan Village, Sirah Pulau Padang District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The study employed a survey method involving 50 rice farmers as respondents. Data were analyzed descriptively to assess the level of GAP implementation, a one-sample t-test was used to examine the gap between actual implementation and the ideal standard, and Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was applied to analyze factors affecting sustainable GAP implementation. The results indicate that the overall level of GAP implementation falls into the moderate category, with an average value of 71.4% and a gap of 28.6%, with the largest gaps occurring in fertilization and water management. The one-sample t-test confirms a significant difference between farmers’ GAP implementation and the ideal standard. SEM-PLS analysis reveals that social, ecological, and technological factors have a significant effect on sustainable GAP implementation, with technology identified as the dominant factor, while economic and institutional factors do not show a significant effect. These findings highlight the importance of improving access to and utilization of agricultural technology to reduce GAP implementation gaps in lebak swamp rice farming.
