PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN E-LKPD BERBASIS STEM TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI STRUKTUR ATOM DI SMA NEGERI 19 PALEMBANG
This study aims to determine the effect of using STEM-based e-LKPD on students’ learning outcomes in the Atomic Structure topic at SMA Negeri 19 Palembang. This study employed a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The research subjects consisted of two classes selected using the random cluster sampling technique, namely class X.2 as the experimental class using STEM-based e-LKPD and class X.3 as the control class using printed LKPD. Data were collected through an objective multiple-choice test administered before the learning process (pretest) and after the learning process (posttest). The obtained data were analyzed using normality and homogeneity tests as prerequisite tests. The results of the prerequisite tests showed that the data were not normally distributed; therefore, hypothesis testing was conducted using the nonparametric Mann–Whitney test. The results of the Mann–Whitney test showed that the value of Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) was < 0.05, so H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted, indicating that there was an effect of the use of STEM-based e-LKPD on students’ learning outcomes in the Atomic Structure topic. In addition, the mean rank value in the experimental class was higher than that in the control class, indicating that the learning outcomes of students who used STEM-based e-LKPD were higher than those of students who used printed LKPD. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of STEM-based e-LKPD has a significant effect on students’ learning outcomes in the Atomic Structure topic at SMA Negeri 19 Palembang.
