IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM BUDAYA GEMAR MEMBACA DAN MENULIS DALAM MENINGKATKAN CRITICAL THINKING PESERTA DIDIK DI SMAN 17 PALEMBANG

This study aims to determine the Implementation of the Reading and Writing Culture Program to Improve Student Critical Thinking at SMAN 17 Palembang. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, the sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling technique with informants totaling 5 students. This research uses data collection techniques, namely documentation, interviews and observation techniques. Validity tests use readability tests, transferability tests, dependability tests, and confirmability tests. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion presentation. Based on the results of this study, it was found that the implementation of the reading and writing culture program was carried out very well so that it was able to improve students' critical thinking in the very good category at 100% which is included in the very good category.
